Apple Hands

My wife woke up this morning and realized that we are going to see some family next week and NEEDED!!!!!! to bring some pictures...........It was instantly a national crisis.............We had to RUSH!!!!! to the mac and see what we needed to print..............at 6:30am!!  Can I get some coffee first please?

In looking through some old shots, I found this; I had forgotten about it and never did anything with it.  There is so much going on here, the symbolism is tremendous.  The hands, jewelry, apples, flowers, etc.  It just doesn't stop.

Bookshelf

The other day I was looking at someone's blog and he had done a great job of shooting his hotel room he was staying in.  It made me think that sometimes there are shots right in front of us that we don't see.

So, yesterday afternoon, I spent about half an hour looking around my office.  I didn't move anything, I didn't set anything up, I just looked it from a different angle;  I must have taken 100 photos.  As I was working on some of them this morning, I realized that by just my bookshelf alone, you can learn a lot about a person.  So much of my life, how I think, what I believe in, is on this shelf.  I didn't do it on purpose, it is just how it worked out.

Blur Light

OK, I admit this is a strange shot.  And maybe not the greatest, but there is something about it that makes me like it.  A few weeks ago, I was on a trip and we had gone into the hotel bar for a drink after dinner.  I had my camera with me and I just set it on the bar and put everything on auto and clicked.  This is what I got.

The light on her face is from the screen.  She was almost completely still expect for her hands which were whizzing around.  Just a little experiment for a Thursday morning.

Water Flow

I was walking by a fountain the other day and this caught my eye for some reason.  When I sat down this morning to work, I felt like doing something a bit funky.  No clue why, I guess I am in one of those moods.

Good Time

In case you were wondering if the kids had a good time playing paintball, check this out.

Not only look at the smiles on their faces, but check out how much paint is on their clothes.  That alone is a very telling sign!

It is just another Soccer weekend.

Old Wood

Everyone once in a while I come across something that I just think is cool.  For no reason other than it strikes my eye.  I came across this in the field next to the paintball field.  No clue why it was there, but if you look at it, it has been then more than a short time.

The wood was starting to rot, there was a lot of trash around it and then obviously, the weeds had grown up around the wood.

The Eyes Have It!

My oldest son went out with his soccer team to play paintball the other day.  I came at the end and shot a number of pictures trying to get some action shots.  Most of the them were shot through a net, so I was not thrilled with the quality.  But I got I few that I liked a lot.  This is one of them.

He had just walked off the field and was looking at me trying to figure out what was going on.  I took his picture before he realized what was happening.
